Developed the USC Rossier IT Ticketing System and Asset Management System. We looked at many commercial products and decided to develop a custom solution to manage our IT tickets, assets, and checking out of laptops in one simple-to-use system. I imported the asset data from an existing Access database and created a relational database to help keep track of what is changed. All changes to an asset are displayed in a nice threaded list for the history. The ticketing system is very easy to use with auto-complete features for quickly adding commonly used data. The system has been expanded to keeping track of accounts, MFP configuration data, and the management of IT purchase requests.
