Developed and designed the latest version of the UCR Libraries website. The site uses jQuery for various elements on the site such as navigation, dynamic search box, calendaring, and image rollovers. Memcached is heavily used on the site to maximize performance and reduce the load on our database servers. There are many dynamic elements to the site including: automatic link redirection to WebVPN for our electronic resources (depending on client location), scheduled news and homepage banners, dynamic hours posting system, staff job postings, in-house search engine, automatic loading of news feeds from campus, templating system, and online forms. All content is developed by UCR Libraries staff using our CENTAUR Content Management System. Developed using PHP, MySQL, jQuery, Memcached, and Javascript. http://library.ucr.edu
