CENTAUR CMS

Lead developer of the CENTAUR CMS (Content Management System). This system hosts most of the web content at UCR Libraries. There are approximately 15,000 data objects in the system (HTML, images, PDF, documents). Most Library staff have access to develop new content in the CENTAUR CMS.

library.ucr.edu
library.ucr.edu/wrca
library.ucr.edu/view/ieleads and many more sites

There are several modules including: file explorer, WYSIWYG editor, content versioning, easy-to-use online form generator, clickthrough statistics, conference room scheduler, hours management, news article scheduling, staff roster database, and a job posting system.

In terms of third party technologies – I added customizations to the TinyMCE WSIWYG editor to allow for quick linking of files within the system. JQuery is used for the folder navigation script on the file explorer. Memcached is used to store external web service data as well as news feeds and popular pages on the site.

Developed using PHP, MySQL, Javascript, JQuery, Memcached, and TinyMCE. (Internal Link)
